Al principio Ramis pintó las paginas de los cómics Flunkerne a mano con acuarelas liquidas llamadas anilinas . Esta es una de estas paginas en que el color es directo y original.

Ramis fue un prolífico dibujante en la década de los ochenta y noventa creando muchas paginas de humor para jóvenes y adultos. Dirigió algunas revistas de humor basadas en programas de televisión, fue guionista de programas de televisión y series de dibujos animados. En los noventa, junto al dibujante Cera, creo los personajes llamados Flunkerne activos durante décadas. Mas tarde se pasó al mundo del diseño gráfico.
