VINTAGE ‘La SALLE’ ART DECO ROCKET MAN - ROCKETEER CAR MASCOT

This art deco guy is in near pristine condition, has exquisite details, you can see his hands clenched like Icarus grasping his wings, the gauntlets, the flying cap, his well defined muscular body, man boobs (pecs), and the bubble butt. He is made of aluminium or probably spelter (cast zinc). He is a high quality casting with no roughness anywhere on his body.

Very similar to the Mascots on Cadillacs of the 1920s and 30s.

There is some debate over his origins, (no maker’s marks) but he looks to be off a 1927 La Salle, probably export models only as the domestic models did not carry this type
