Bocciato in censura, viene rimontato e gonfiato con scene da "La città verrà distrutta all'alba": tale versione, intitolata "L'urlo in gola", riesce ad ottenere il nulla osta di circolazione. Il master dell'edizione vhs, che riprende l'edizione approvata in censura, riporta come titolo sia "Sesso delirio" sia "Grida di estasi", scritto con la titolatrice.
