Descripción:

- Grabado muebles del S.XIV.

- Todos los títulos y firmas están fuera de la plancha.

- En el margen superior tiene la leyenda “Francia - France”.

- En el margen inferior tiene la leyenda “Meubles du XIV Siecle – Muebles del Siglo XIV”.

- En el ángulo superior derecho tiene impreso el número “414”, lo que hace suponer que el Grabado es el número 414 de una serie.

- En el ángulo inferior derecho, fuera de la imagen, está la firma ‘Lemaitre Direxit’, el grabador.

- Augustin François Lemaître: Grabador, litógrafo, diseñador, editor y fotógrafo francés. Representó muchos paisajes, monumentos, arquitecturas y personas, especialmente durante sus numerosos viajes por Europa.

- En el ángulo inferior izquierdo, fuera de la imagen, está la firma ‘Gaucherel del’, el dibujante.

- León Gaucherel (1816-1886). Pintor y grabador, nacido en París. Grabó para varias publicaciones arqueológicas, pero pasó al aguafuerte reproducciones de pinturas antiguas y contemporáneas.

- Grabado Calcográfico al aguafuerte sobre plancha de acero, aunque también podría haberse utilizado otra técnica distinta.

- Realizado en tono monocolor negro, muy bien de tinta.

- Probablemente es un Grabado perteneciente a un libro.

Conservación y desperfectos:

- Estado General: Muy bueno.

- Esta muy bien de tinta, y tiene una buena estampación.

- El Grabado tiene un papel de espesor medio grueso y regular calidad, pegado por las esquinas a otro papel.

- El Grabado ha sufrido algo de humedad, por lo que el papel tiene pequeñas manchas de humedad y puntos de óxido, todo ello más acusado según nos acercamos a los bordes.

- El Grabado está sucio, teniendo los bordes bastante más sucios, con pequeñísimos rotos, y las puntas levemente deterioradas con ligeros doblados.

- Si se le aplica un ligero lavado y blanqueado, el resultado sería muy bueno.

Comentarios:

- Las Medidas son aproximadas.

- Grabado ideal como elemento decorativo.

- Los tonos de los colores de las fotos no son iguales a los tonos de los colores reales.

Description:

- Engraving furniture of the XIVth century.

- All the titles and signatures are outside the plate.

- In the upper margin it has the legend "Francia - France".

- In the lower margin it has the legend "Meubles du XIV Siecle - Furniture of the 14th century".

- In the upper right-hand corner is printed the number "414", which suggests that the engraving is number 414 of a series.

- In the lower right corner, outside the image, is the signature 'Lemaitre Direxit', the engraver.

- Augustin François Lemaître: French engraver, lithographer, designer, publisher and photographer. He depicted many landscapes, monuments, architecture and people, especially during his many travels in Europe.

- In the lower left corner, outside the image, is the signature 'Gaucherel del', the draughtsman.

- Léon Gaucherel (1816-1886). Painter and engraver, born in Paris. He engraved reproductions of ancient and contemporary paintings for various archaeological publications, but then etched reproductions of ancient and contemporary paintings.

- Chalcographic etching on steel plate, although a different technique could also have been used.

- Produced in a single-colour black tone, very well inked.

- It is probably an engraving belonging to a book.

Conservation and damage:

- General condition: Very good.

- The ink is very good, and it has a good stamping.

- The engraving is on medium-thick paper of average thickness and regular quality, glued at the corners to another paper.

- The engraving has suffered some humidity, so the paper has small humidity stains and rust spots, all of them more pronounced as we get closer to the edges.

- The engraving is dirty, with the edges being much dirtier, with very small tears, and the tips slightly deteriorated with slight bending.

- A light washing and bleaching would be a very good result.

- The tones of the colours in the photos are not the same as the tones of the real colours.
